How to Use

Will adding a watermark leak my original image?
No. Image processing happens entirely in the browser — neither the original nor the result is uploaded to a server, so it is safe for screenshots that are not yet public.
Does it support batch watermarking?
Yes. You can select multiple images at once and apply a uniform or custom text watermark in batch — handy for signing a whole set of photos at once.
Does watermarking affect image quality?
The watermark is drawn locally and re-exported, so the image is re-encoded once. Export as PNG to minimize loss; JPG / WebP apply a second round of compression.
Which watermark positions and layouts are supported?
It supports nine grid positions (top-left to bottom-right) plus a "tile" layout covering the whole image, with configurable spacing and rotation — suited to strong anti-reuse statements.
Can I apply settings to only some images?
Currently the same settings apply to all uploaded images. To use different watermarks, process and export one batch first, then upload the rest and configure them separately.
Which export format should I choose?
PNG (lossless) is recommended to best preserve watermark clarity; if size is critical (e.g. web imagery), JPG / WebP are acceptable but introduce compression loss.
How should I set watermark size and opacity?
There is no fixed rule: for anti-reuse, lower opacity and a modest size keeps the subject clear while still visible; for attribution, a slightly larger corner mark is clearer. Try on one small image before batching.
Is a tiled watermark better at preventing theft than a corner one?
A tiled watermark is harder to crop out in one go, but it is more visually intrusive. A compromise: low-opacity tiling over the subject plus a clear corner signature. No watermark absolutely prevents theft — it only raises the cost and makes tracing easier.
